__The Treaty that Gave Mexico Mexico__


-Gave Mexico its independence from Spain at the end of the Mexican War for Independence, the 11 year-long war

-Insurgency started in 1650 when the first Proclamatino of Independence of the new world was signed. The signer was burned at the stake.

-August 24, 1821

-Signed by "Mexican insurgent" Agustin de Iturbide and royal viceroy Jun de O'Donoju

-Signed in Cordoba, Veracruz, Mexico
