Following the Sikhs

* An adherent of Sikhism. Sikhism is a religion that began with the teachings of Nanak and nine successive human gurus.

* A Sikh believes in One God, Ten Gurus, the Guru Granth Sahib, the utterances and teachings of the ten Gurus, and living an honest life, abolishing oppression, and treating good people with respect.

* The 5 Ks are five items of faith that some Sikhs wear to command of the tenth Sikh Guru. They are Kesh (uncut hair), Kanga (wooden comb), Kacha (specially-designed underwear), Kara (iron bracelet), and Kirpan (strapped sword).
