Revolt of Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali's revolt was when Muhammad Ali (not to be confused with Cassius Clay ~_^ the boxer), the ruler of Egypt built a Western inspired and Western facilitated army to invade Syria, where from he then began to rule in his own way of eliminating intermediaries that collected taxes and eventually ended up making his people suffer because of his new expensive army and their costly needs (not to meantion his own entanglements).
