Imperialism: The Beginning of Killing All the Little People

-Because of industrialization, many companies found that in order to secure the materials that they needed, they often had to use force.

-This often lead to conquering other kingdoms, such as the British East India Company subjugating of India.

-This lead to an era where the world powers felt the need to control other lands.

-Because of their increasing military ability, the land being attacked by the world powers were unable to put up any resistance.

-Another cause of imperialism, was the "Societal Darwinism" an outlook that if a country were truly the best, then they would be able to show their power over other countries.

-Even the new country America was not exempt from this desire to be the best, and in so doing, they forcfully took over Hawaii and entered into the Spanish-American war, among other squables with other countries.
